On Bozzy’s birthday, Saturday 29 October 2011, an inscribed stone will be unveiled to him outside the Writer’s Museum in Makars' Court Edinburgh. Donated by the Boswell Museum and Mausoleum Trust, a charity which aims to restore the Boswell Mausoleum in Auchinleck churchyard and create a celebration of James Boswell’s life in the adjoining Boswell Aisle.
It is particularly fitting that Boswell should be commemorated along with other great Scottish writers in the heart of Edinburgh as the city played a large part in his early life and career.
